| Maxwell Robinson was possibly born abt 1852 in Virginia to a Robinson father, was freed from slavery when General Grant took Richmond, found and married a woman named Mariah in 1877 who gave birth to son Luther in 1878. Records below indicate both Maxwell and Mariah died in 1885 possibly from a catastrophe or disease of some sort not to exclude the terrorism that ravaged the south. The first and last name indicates that Maxwell was likely related to the Richmond origins of African heritage Robinsons.
