Tucker Isaacs the son of Nancy Hemings West and David Isaacs married his cousin Annie Elizabeth Fossett whose parents Joseph and Edy Fossett apparently also relocated to Ohio after death of Thomas Jefferson in 1826 and subsequent emancipation.  We do not know how many Hemings descendents, relatives and friends relocated to Ohio but apparently the number is much greater than imagined as men like Joe Fossett made free by Jefferson used their freedom to buy that of their families and friends, ... and then relocation to Ohio.
